The Tennessee Secretary of State has set forth a list of requirements that must be satisfied for you to perform online notarizations under Tennessee law. You must already hold a regular Tennessee notary commission.
You must sign up with a remote online notary technology provider that meets state technical and business requirements.
Visit the state’s website to complete the Online Notary Application.
Your application must include information about your selected remote online notary vendor (including their identity verification processes and digital signature technology), a copy of your digital certificate and seal, and a $75 filing fee.
